Traveled with hostels and backpackers for over 1 year. This backpackers is one of the best accommodations. They have everything travellers want and need. Staff was so friendly, maybe more than a staff, like a friend. They were helpful as well. anything you need, just go to the receiption and ask. They will do all they can do for you.... More

All the places recommended by the staff worked out! The room was very comfortabel and clean. The only thing that was a little bit anoying was the police car outsite. We continiously heard the radio buzzing. More

I stayed at the Amakaya Backpackers for two nights and had a really good time. Staff was very helpful with finding out what to do in Plettenberg Bay and around (thanks again for the shuttle service, it really was an experience to go by motor bike). Nice and clean rooms (stayed in a dorm), liked the atmosphere. More

After making the... More

I was fortunate enough to stay at the Amakaya for three days in September 2010. I was greeted by Mary, the manager, on my arrival and she was immediately very friendly and went out of the way to find me the room and the price I preferred. The bunks were wide and comfortable and the decor very pleasant. The shower... More
