We stayed here for one night after flying in from Kruger and before driving to Nature's Valley. The location is quite a long way out of town, but it suited us fine as it was on our way out towards Nature's Valley. The room was beautiful - it was at the bottom of the gardens in the old stables, very quiet, comfortably and stylishly decorated (the pictures on the website are very accurate), with good heating for a cold and windy night, and a good bathroom with an excellent shower as well as a bath. The garden was a green hill heading down from the main building to where we stayed - it wasn't huge, but it was immaculately kept and with what looked like a very inviting pool. We ate dinner there, which was very good - an amazing goat's cheese and red onion tart (which can be very ordinary, so this one was especially impressive), followed by very good fish and really excellent lamb, and finishing with a very nice Amarula creme brulee.
