We've stayed 2 nights in PE. There is not much to do or to see apart from nice beaches. Therefore I wouldn't recommend staying there longer than one night (or not at all ;-) ) However, the Bayside Guesthouse was nice, super clean and for us four (2 adults with 2 little kids) the rooms were perfect as they were... more
Port Elizabeth is a bit of a sleepy town and comes across as an OAP retirement village. Where we stayed was about 10min drive from the main town strip. The room was big, with a particularly spacious bathroom. The power was, however, off when we arrived but we were told it would return by 6, which meant we couldn't avail... more
Our stay in Port Elizabeth was a very short one, but made memorable by our wonderful stay at the Bayside Guest House. Close to the airport, it was very easy to find - minutes away from the beach and shopping centres. Our hosts were superb, our room was spacious, clean and tidy with beautiful decor and breakfast was top notch... more
