We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Lemon Tree Lane which was recommended by our neighbours who had visited in 2006.  Vivienne had been our main contact via email and she showed us to our rooms on arrival, before giving us excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants called "99" and "The Coachhouse", which proved spot on.  In the absence of owners... more

I can't understand why Lemon Tree Lane gets such good reviews. It is very average, and possibly below -- living on previous laurels. I checked in to find a malfunctioning tv remote, unfriendly owners, bare and scratchy towels (And when I asked for an extra towel, the owner asked if there was a second person in the room!!), stains on... more

Only a few minutes from the centre of Port Elizabeth, Lemon Tree Lane offers a quite retreat from the hustle and bustle of city and beach areas.
