Kayenta city, the door to the Monument Valley, has only 3 hotels and they're always fully booked by pullmans and groups. So the only chance to find a room is travelling 10 miles west and pay over 110$ for a double room into a hostel-like building in the middle of nowhere. Stayed on a tour, clean but basic rooms. Great cafe in the hotel, open 24 hours. serves the best fruit pies ever!!! definitely not a bad hotel, just basic and reasonable for what you pay for it more

If this was priced as a cheap motel...then this review would be a lot different. I would pay 30-40 USD to stay here. I paid a lot more than that and it was a very cheap, outdated dump.
