We were given a warm and friendly greeting on arrival, Our cases were taken promptly by the porters and even after a quick check in they beat us to our rooms. We ate at the local Chieftain restaurant. When we arrived we were greeted at the door where a traditional African band were playing a series of drums. We were... more

This hotel is a long way from the city or airport. If has a quiet location and the staff are helpful. Sometimes the food service was a bit slow or not avil. The room was average and could be updated. The internet needs to be upgraded also. Feels like a big apt complex rather then a hotel. more

We stayed here as the final hotel during a rugby tour. This hotel was totally unprepared for the arrival of guests. The room although adequate in size was dated with rickety furniture and extremely tempremental plumbing and thin walls. The breakfast was seved barely warm and the breakfast room was unable to cope with the number of guests. We had... more

When you pull up to the hotel from the busy main street and go t reception, it gives you no expectation of the extent of the gardens and grounds to this hotel. Check in was easy, being with a group, and luggage was delivered to our room swiftly. If you have difficulty walking the hotel have a "golf cart" and... more

On arrival a porter will bring your luggage into the lobby as there are stairs which lead down into the lobby. We were escorted to our room as the layout of the hotel is like a maze and you could definately get lost! They waited till we got into our rooms before leaving. The bathroom is very new and clean!... more

This is the worst hotel. When we checked in , I was told by a young man that, despite my e-mail confirmation from the hotel of our booking (which specified dates), our booking was in fact for the day before our arrival and that they had cancelled our booking without telling us nor refunding any part of the booking. They... more

Not in town on ring road . Room clean, tidy and with all... more

We didn't know what to expect being our first time in South Africa. You read many write-ups, some don't like a place because of internet etc. We came over from Australia and were there as a stopover for 3 days before heading to Uganda. We found the Indaba a real place of rest and comfort. The breakfasts were fantastic, the... more
