The rooms are old but this hotel has the best location in Sandton. Its pricey and bit pretentious, but service is on par with other hotels in the area. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant though, there is too many great restaurants in the area! more

Staff requires more training, Service is BAD, Property is OKAY, needs urgent re-furbishment, The internet vouchers need to be collected from the lobby desk without which you can't connect, Food is OKAY.. Besides its excellent location, this hotel does very little to justify its price. Service was very poor and not helpful. Rooms seem old and not specially big. Asked for a late check-out which was denied and instead offered to SELL me a tour of Jo'burg. Definitely won't be staying again. more

This hotel looked good on the surface, but the service was really lacking. The hotel messed up and had 2 reservations for us. In trying to figure this out, the clerk gave me a room to begin with, then took it back and gave me a different room. all the while acting as if I was messing up her day.... more
