We had two rooms here during July. One was a self-contained room with kitchen and sitting area and the other was a large bedroom. These were very good rooms, comfortable and kept very clean. The owner of the property, Fay, was an excellent host and was able to advise us about places to go during our brief stay. There is a large shopping area with a good African market within 20 minutes walk but across some busy roads. We were advised to get a taxi back from there in the evening. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice and hot food cooked freshly to order. Fay was able to arrange transport to and from the airport( about 40 mins drive) for a reasonable fee through a reliable local taxi service. The security around the area takes a bit of getting used to but I suppose that's how things are in Jo'burg at the moment.
