My friend and I spent a night at the Wodehouse Bed and Breakfast on Sunday the 10th of December 2006. We were attending a wedding at the Midrand Conference Centre and selected the B&B for its proximity to the venue. I came across this B&B through internet search using the SA-venues website. I was very impressed with the quick and enthusiastic replies that I got from the management when I made enquiries regarding room rates and bookings etc.

We arrived at the B&B on the 10th at around mid-day (around 1pm). It was a beautiful place, homely, comfortable and secure. It looked just like in the pictures and very clean. I could not believe that a place like that could charge so little.

When we got to the room, it had not been prepared for us (though I had mentioned that we would arrive at 9am). We didn’t mind though as we were still gushing over the buildings and in a rush to get to the wedding. I had called my husband to tell him I had found the perfect place... more
