It was fine. The rooms were very bare and very cold, the cabins are far away from the facilities which makes a cold walk at night to the bathrooms. The communal kitchen and lounge area were great. Many cute dogs to play with. All in all, basic and fine for those roughing it.

I arrived 2 days before the start of my tour and was amazed at how much Twana felt like home. We liked Twana Lodge -it has a nice laid back atmosphere. The hosts were helpful and friendly. But I felt totally ripped off paying AUS75 for an airport transfer when I shared the taxi with 3 other people. Rooms were freezing cold with no portable heater; no hot water for showers; exhorbitant price for a vegetarian "meal" (2 vegetarian patties with bread); and miles from anywhere so couldn't even easily buy my own supplies
