We stayed at Mount Amanzi as a result of trading a time-share week. It is located about an hour from Jo'burg airport, and it is essential to rent a car. As the written instructions provided by the resort are meant for locals who know their way around, we had some challenges to find it,. We felt frustrated that despite many emails, we did not receive from them directions from the airport.
The grounds are well kept, and include a nice outdoor pool, small indoor heated pool,tennis courts, game room, and putt-putt (mini-golf) for a small fee.There is a reasonably priced restaurant on site, but the 2 nights we went to dine there, it was closed! Our unit was spacious, with a sofa, chair, dining area, double bed on the main level, with 3 single beds upstairs. We had a full size refrigerator, and stove.
