Friends of ours in Joburg reccomended the Sandton and we were exceptionally surprised. The Sandton is in a lovely residential neighborhood, quiet yet within a short distance from shopping and dining. We felt as though we were very welcome guests at a friend's house. Bridget and her husband were the perfect hosts. There was the perfect amount of interaction, help when we needed it yet total privacy.
The rooms, we were lucky enough to have a peek of several, are exceptionally large, hip in decor, clean as a pin. All of the rooms overlook the lovely, well tended gardens with either balconies on patios. Bathrooms are spacious with luxurious, new fixtures and a tub and large glassed in shower.
A large dining room, also with a deck available for outside dining, was the breakfast area. Your custom breakfast is prepared apon ordering. The lovely, on site staff of 3 women, take your order after you peruse the menu with eggs prepared any way you like, side orders of mushrooms or... more
