We travel a lot and enjoy the "off the beaten track" experience, however, I would have felt safer sleeping in the Arizona desert with a nest of rattlers. The place was dirty. There was hair infront of the toilet (use your imagination), bugs in the lamp shade and you could see through the sheets. There were some very sketchy people... more

Old, musty, dimly lit, poor air condintioning (dryer sheets were stuck in the vent in the master bedroom) and showed no signs of any attempt at renovation. An actual trip back in time to a past we don't want to revist. We checked into the executive suite after having to call the desk clerk to open the front door. The... more

Nice restaurant, great building with a lot of character. Restored by a French guy that understands the beauty of an urban building and a good restaurant in front of Route 66 and the railway station. Best to get one of the front rooms. The 2nd floor porch-gallery overlooking the road, station and desert is a beautiful place especially at sunrise... more

After reading many reviews on the hotel I decided to share my opinion on it as others have done. For starters, Hotel Brunswick is a historical piece in downtown Kingman. They provide a resturant, bar, and rooms. Now looking at the hotels website it looks very nice and on the other side of that, it's OLD. Hence the "historic" part... more

Instead of making the kids happy and staying in a motel with a pool, we opted for an historic hotel. I wish I'd read the reviews here before I booked. It's located across from the railroad tracks (no scenic view) and in a block with vacant buildings except for the bar next door. It was uncomfortable and dirty. We had... more

How this got a Number 1 rating on Tripadvisor is a mystery to me! This was the only actual `honeymoon suite' on our entire trip and we were promised a themed room with neon signs - all kinds of funky stuff. Humm... Firstly, watch out for the old portraits on the stairs which are holograms which turn into skeletons when... more

We stayed at the Brunswick during a week vacation in Vegas and the Grand Canyon and this was a half-way stop over. We checked the website but didn't check Trip advisor for the reviews. The main problem to highlight is the train noise. Trains run through Kingman all night, at least every 30mins and sound thier horns outside the hotel... more

We ate here one night while travelling down route 66. When we arrived the restaurant was almost empty. The decor and table settings were very nice. The service was excellent - our waiter was extremely helpful and knew all of the dishes on the menu. The food was amazing! Each of the three courses was perfectly cooked, and we both... more

Stayed at the Brunswick Hotel while traveling historic Route 66. Neat place with a clean room and different from the cookie-cutter chain hotels. Had a fantastic meal at the restaurant downstairs. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only problem was the trains that ran at least every 15 minutes all day and night. No question what the ear plugs that... more

The Brunswick Hotel is a wonderful old hotel in Kingma, AZ. Said to be haunted (yes, I have experienced activity during my visits) it is a charming, old place, decorated in period style that is a must see for anyone that apreciates this type of thing. As I stated, it is old so don't expect the Plaza. Beautiful, older furnishings,... more
