Couldn't agree more with the above review (by YozzaLondon_England). Our experience exactly! This place has been completely missold by the proprieters. This is definitely not a 4* establishment and the owner is very annoying. Luckily, after one night we found accommodation at the nearby Hartford House, which is outstanding (highly recommended)! Of course, Hall's would not refund our deposit. Avoid... more

This guest house has, I believe, been missold by the proprieters. It is claimed to be a 4* country house with restaurant but I would rate it as 2*. The quality of the room we were given was very reasonable - large room and comfy bed - but the bathroom was very dated, with mouldy windows and the cheapest possible... more
