If it's cockroaches, damp, and noise that you enjoy then Banana Backpackers will cater perfectly to your every need. The staff do the best they can with their 'sinking ship' but one of them needs to collar the cleaner and have a stern word - actually they should probably just sack him/her. The toilets were soiled and had obviously been so for some time, and the infestation of the unmentionable insect was alarming to say the least - We spent a generous portion of our time in our damp cupboard (room) killing them with a flip flop - an activity that wasn't advertised on their blackboard along with their trips to dranksbergs and hluhuwe game reserve. So all in all I'm relieved to have left alive, I feel that I have cheated death so every cloud and all that... Would also like to mention the brothel downstairs but dont think anyone reading this would be believe a place like this could get any worse... (--) more
