At 850 ZAR single rate (possibly high season price, as it was around Easter) it is one of the more expensive B&B’s I have encountered in South Africa. And it is certainly one of the smallest rooms that I have stayed in.
But it is also one of the nicest decorated rooms and B&B’s, and it is clear that you are paying for all the nice furnishings in the room, including the 8 pillows on the bed, the flat screen tv, and the lovely paintings, mirrors, rugs and other posh furnishings in the house! And don’t forget the biggest breakfast I ever had at an B&B, with lots of choices in cereals, fruit, jams, cold cuts, cheeses etc, besides the egg and bacon dishes.
And the host Caroline and her staff go out of their way to provide a pleasant stay.

The bathroom is lovely, with a nice bath, a designer vanity and a separate rain shower. The double or queen size bed had a good mattress (not too hard), but seemed rather short and quite small for 2.
