Nice complex with some of the rooms in the form of reed thatched rondavels, in a small private game park. The park is to small to make a safari, but you can make an escorted tour on a quad (ZAR 165 for 45 min).

Appx. 10 km dirt road away from the nearest main road. Hence the only dinner option is in the hotel restaurant. If there is a bus group dinner is in the form of a not so very nice buffet, or -if you are lucky- as a braai (BBQ), which is fairly good.
With a price of ZAR 150 both are overpriced.

As the private park is too small for a real safari, I wonder why to go this far from the main road for a relatively high price (at the crossing with the main road is another hotel with rooms for appx 1/3 of the price). Probably it's isolation is part of the charm if you like that. more
