We spent two wonderful weeks at Mabalingwe Nature Reserve in late August 2008 which was still officially winter. We had exchanged our timeshare to be here and expected it to be cold with mosquitoes but it was very hot, no rain and no mosquities either!! It was a lovely place to visit. Just spent 6 nights at Mabalingwe. The web site certainly led us to believe there were lots of animals to be seen, including the "Big Five".
