This was started as a 5 star hotel some years ago but it has been left to deteriorate. Staff unimpressive, attention to detail poor, gardens look messy, rooms are past their best (carpets worn, lights not working, furniture chipped). The restaurant Gigis is very good. Excellent food and really worth a visit but we wouldn't stay here again.

The surroundings are beautiful - lush and green. The accommodation is uber luxurious, the food is of a very high standard and the spa is absolutely sublime. All the staff are warm, genuinely friendly and efficient – nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff.Whether for leisure or business purposes, I can highly recommend Hotel Izulu.

The hotel is out of this world, the room was spacious and neat. I enjoyed the dinner for my birthday. Followed by a spa treatment and the jacuzzi. We had a perfect weekend away. I wish to go there again.
