We are so glad that we happened upon this place. They were very accommodating for us and is big rig friendly. The park and facilities are kept clean and well maintained. There are lots of amenities here including a great exercise/weight room, pool table that is in great shape with cues that aren't all beat up, and a huge laundry room. Everytime we have gone into the bathroom, shower, hot tub or pool, they were meticulously clean. They have different things happening in their clubhouse everyday if you choose to partake in the get-togethers. I am not very social but have really enjoyed this aspect as well. The location is also great. You're 1 mi from Walmart and only a few of miles from the main attractions like London bridge and the swap meet on Sundays. You can also ATV right from your campsite. The trails start right behind the resort. And just a side note, people here drive there UTVs right in town. We were only planning on staying for one month but have already talked to the office about staying for a second month. We would definitely recommend this place.…

We have been to many RV parks all over the country, and this park has the cleanest and most updated facilities by far! The owners and very personable and try to maintain a healthy park. The pool is heated along with a jacuzzi, they have a clubhouse that has two movie spots, a library as well as board games. They also have a pool table and work out room available to use. Sites are clean, gravel to park on. Some have cement pads but not all. You do get a better deal if staying weekly or monthly so keep this in mind, and with so much to do and see in Lake Havasu you can stay pretty busy!

I've stayed here a few times and must say that Prospectors is hands-down the best campground for the price in Lake Havasu! The manager Tom is very accommodating and for a smaller campground, they have ALL the amenities. Fantastic place, you just can't beat it!

We have stayed here for 3 years on our way to Yuma and on our way home every winter. The owners are great to deal with the rooms are very comfortable and clean. Being pet owners we appreciate the their pet room have treats for the dog and access to outside is so convenient. We also love the free margaritas. The restaurant is mostly Mexican food and is very good.. breakfast was not as good as it was.. but still ok.

We like the idea of staying in a smaller size RV park, with large RV spaces. So we stayed here for 2 months in late 2015 & are here again in Mar&Apr/16. We appreciate the work the staff does to keep the resort clean and comfortable for all of us. The Clubhouse includes a good size laundry room, a large TV room, card/games & pool room, fitness room which is on the small side, but sufficient, a large gathering room w/kitchen and washrooms w/showers. All areas are kept very clean. The pool / hot tub area is kept spotless and has lots of lounge chairs & tables. We also enjoy staying here, on London Bridge Rd, as it is easily accessible to shopping,restaurant/bars; the lake, golfing & hiking. The website for the Prospector RV Resort accurately explained all the available amenities & costs. When we arrived there wasn't anything that blind-sided us, all was as expected! We are already looking forward to coming back in the fall of 2016 for for another 3 month stay. Gail F. …

When visiting Lake Havasu City, Arizona for the first time in March 2016 I stayed with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law at this inviting RV resort. It is located within a short driving distance to desirable sites and shopping in the area. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of not only the grounds, but the community building which housed laundry facilities, showers, a workout room, a huge meeting hall, and a very comfortably furnished TV room. As an avid exerciser, I was able to use either the workout room or the TV room (including a player for my DVD workouts) each morning. My sister-in-law participates in water aerobics three days per week. Although I did not use the pool, we did spend time in the area and it was very clean with plenty of seating. It was also a popular spot since the temperature lingered in the 80s for most of my trip. I met several "residents" and they were all very welcoming and friendly. The RV parking slots are clean and spacious with seemingly new concrete patios. My family has been very happy here and I would definitely recommend it!!!…

I had made reservations to stay the winter this year but when I got there it was nothing like it's web site said it was. They advertised lots of organized activities such as cards and dancing every week but they had none of these while I was there. I only stayed a week. When I checked out they only said "Good, I can use the site." Also when I checked in I was not told that there was a charge for the WiFi but When I checked out they charged me $24.95 for it and they charged me for electricity that I didn't use. I don't recommend this place.

Located in a fairly quiet area north of Lake Havasu City, the Resort is away from the noise of the main road and back from the lake. In the late winter, this is a popular venue for those snow birds who are avoiding the chill in the north; so reservations are a must. The roads are concrete and fairly wide. The RV parking slots consist of clean gravel sites with concrete patios. The resort has a nice pool and the laundry facilities are very clean and air conditioned. This RV park exclusively caters to the RV enthusiast and does not mix the property with mini-manufactured homes. For me, that is important because, where mixed use is allowed, it has been my experience that the RV enthusiest receives the short end of the courtesies. In this park, The RVer is appreciated.
