We stayed in August with 3 young kids and 5 adults. This is just outside Malelane ( about 3 km), easily spotted form the road in daytime- Do not arrive at night as it has a 1.5km dirt track( from the main highway) that is tricky to traverse in the dark- however that's the worst it gets.

The owner, Johan and his wife are very hospitable. The rooms are very adequate and have all amenities. The lack of a tv in th room was a good thing as it meant that you spent your evenings talking at the bar area or a round the Boma fire.

The breakfasts were good and English brekky was cooked to order as well as having choice of cereals, yogurts, fruits and home made scones and cookies. The kitchen staff catered for our needs and always had us wantiung more..but for the size of our stomachs.

The game drives in Kruger were brilliant as was the drive around Thanda Nan lodge resort- the highlight being surrounded by around 100-200 buffalo and white rhino at feeding grounds... more
