We spent one night here before moving on to Kruger on our honeymoon. We were given a room upgrade as it was our honeymoon. The room was spacious, with an outside shower and a large patio. The food was good and the staff friendly. more

This place exceeded our expectations many times. The inn was very affordable and is a short drive from the entrance to the kruger national park. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and very family friendly focused. The meals served were wonderful and very affordable, the room was the lap of luxury (we stayed in a hillside suite) and private.... more

The Guest books of this charming establishment read like a directory of world travellers, who have found an inviting spot to lay their weary bones for the nite – and time and again the comment is, ‘I wish we had spent more time here!’ We were lucky enough to spend a week at the Inn, and every morning we awoke... more

We love the Rissington they are so welcoming and the food is amazing we had 2 rooms booked and arrived before our parents and when the rooms were not next door they quickly re-arranged things without any delay. The little extras like the lovely drink on arrival and cookies to have with your tea in the room make it special.... more

I'd noticed many comments that the Inn was much better when Chris (the owner) is present and was reassured by his omments that he was... more

On a grueling three week eco-tour of South Africa, we stayed at eleven different places.....everything from an "upscale" tent in Kruger National Park to a dark, smelly guest house in Wakkerstroom. What a joy to arrive at the Rissington Inn in Hazyview! Everything was first rate, and the staff could not have been more pleasant. What a view of the... more

I truly enjoyed the Rissington Inn. We stayed there during our honeymoon trip throughout South Africa in Sept of 07. To start, we thought that the employees were incredibly helpful. Our luggage was delayed (happened quite often in SA), and one of the employees was kind enough to drive out and pick up some supplies for us while we were... more
