My partner and I have just renturned from a glorious week at Kruger, staying at the beautiful Chilli Pepper Lodge. Pamela and Chris (and their girls) are the perfect hosts, Toasten and the ladies attended to our every need. Our room (Moroccan) was large, clean, comfortable and had a huge bath with large (hot) shower. Grounds are beautiful. If you... more

We recently returned from a weekend stay at Chillipepper Lodge in Hazyview. This has been by far the best lodge we have ever visited, and will definitely be returning. Chris and Pamela are the perfect hosts, the food is amazing (Chris, your prawns rock!!), and our room was absolutely stunning! From the complementary bottle of champagne at the private built-in... more

Chris, Pamela & their kids, Danielle and Charne welcomed us with hospitality known to few. The Garden room we occupied was very spacious with all the luxuries you... more

We recently spent 16 days traveling through South Africa and Zambia. We enjoyed every place except this one. Do not be decevied by the surrounding beautiful gardens. The rooms and bathrooms as well as the pool are filthy. The place reeeks of mildew. If they gutted the place it could be nice again. It is a faded lady. Stay elsewhere.... more

Stayed here for three nights in March, a real south african welcome. The room we stayed in, the Morroccan room was huge with a seperate bathroom and kitchen area. The staff were very obliging and a special mention must go to "Toastie", sorry if the spelling is wrong, who I renamed Radar as he bought the beers just as I... more

Stayed here for just one night unfortunately in April on the way to Tzaneen from safari in Mkuze Falls. Beautiful large individually decorated rooms on a beautiful property with secure locked car park, pool, gardens, and stand alone restaurant. Managed and owned by the wonderfully sweet Pamela and her charming husband Chris, with whom we engaged in some interested and... more
