The owners obviously do not wish to take any risks which a normal business would take. Only 100% payment permitted up front - no deposit. Credit Card Authorisation Form states "cancellations within 24 hours will incur 100% cancellation charge". In late Nov 2008, my wife and I stayed at the Windmill Wine Shop & Cottages for two nights while exploring the Blyde River Canyon area (eventually on way to Kruger). The pictures on the internet does not show how spacious these brand new cottages are. The rooms give you a feeling of luxury. Not the posh kind of luxury, but the modern one. You will not get disturbed, it’s at least 40 meters between each cottage. And you have a really nice view over the green Sabie Valley from your... more
