Nice hotel with a beautful large deck overlooking Crocodile river. Reception personnel is friendly and very helful in arranging activities. Rooms are small, basic - ask for the ones overlooking the river. Hotel has a small spa but facilities are not taking care of so I would not recommend using them. Firstly, if you want to stay here make sure you're in the Lion or Leopard suites or don't bother. The Buffalo accommodation is some considerable distance from the lodge and steeply uphill, not recommended for older travellers or those with young kids. Pestana Kruger Lodge is a marvellous place on the bench of Crocodile River, and accross the river you have the famous Kruger National Park. That close. we spent two nights here and thought that it was excellent. we had a nice room a short walk away fro m the main building. the food was quite acceptable, the first night we ate outside at the boma. the best part was the viewing platform that overlooked th e crocodile river. spotlights are provided so that you can view... more

A sad and tired lodge. We stayed in Lodge for one night, just as well as it was a dissapointment. The rooms are tired and dated. Came with 2 teenagers and not a suitable place. There is much better value for money around the area. Not to return! more

Stayed here for two nights with family. The place is falling into a state disrepair. Super tube not working left kids very disappointed. Not much else worked either. Avoid at all costs. more
