the rondavel was nice, neither great not bad, but the lodge itself is lovely with a very nice balcony, pool and maze...and the food (breakfast and dinner) was absolutely amazing! One of the best kitchen I've tasked in South Africa.

We have still very much enjoyed the stay in the scenic Nelspruit-landscape, dinner/breakfast were delicious. Dining room and balcony are very nice. N4 (national street) is approx. 200 meters away, (invisible behind trees), but this was a bit noisy (trucks). All in all very nice stay.

The food was EXCELLENT and the service provide wonderful. Very friendly owners, personnel and cats...beautiful regions with lots of opportunities for walking etc. Clean, well arranged. We had an amazing few days for new years eve and we would defenetely return!

Great place to brake a trip to the Kruger Park, loved the home cooked meals and friendly staff, for the active folk defiantly do the river walk and for those who are more spiritually minded Old Joes has the best Labyrinth I have come across in SA.
