House Fritz is a small B & B on the slope of the mountains in Cape Town, in the Vredehoek area. This is neither in the city center nor at the beach, but we found the location really pleasant and convenient. Cape Town is geographically small, and anywhere we wanted to go was ten to fifteen minutes max. Since this was self-catering, we were also pleased that there was a shopping center and supermarket nearby.

The B&B has two apartments. Ours had a bright airy bedroom, a lounge, a full kitchen, and a good bathroom. The lounge opened onto a spacious deck with outdoor furniture, and the bedroom opened to the garden and pool. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

The cost was very reasonable-- very good value for money.

The owners are a couple who live on the premises and did all they could to be helpful. We ended up wishing that we could stay longer in this really nice place. more
