Pretty nice place and very friendly staff . Gave us excellent restaurant recommendations . Only downside oor balcony could have been a touch bigger , only just big enough for a chair sideways , but the pool area is just down stairs and very nice.. We liked it a lot More

We stayed one night at the Dysart as part if our 16 days in South Africa. The room was comfortable and a nice bathroom. Also a nice breakfast on the terrace next to the rooftop pool. Would recommend for a short stay, although on balance I preferred other places we stayed in Cape Town More

This, small, personally managed and run guest house was our home for 9 days in Dec 11 for a family re-union. Eveything worked out perfectly. Service, ambience, quality of breakfasts was simply put excellence. We will be back for sure More

Stayed here last week for our honeymoon. Couldn't have asked for more in regards to a budget friendly price, friendly staff and clean accommodations. Would recommend this hotel for anyone staying one or two nights in Cape Town before heading to wine country. The granola makes for a perfect road snack. More

The whole place is funky and different. Thee rooms are excellent and the bathrooms are great (wonderful shower). The breakfasts were the best we had along the Garden Route (and given the competition this is a big compliment) and they bought gluten free bread for my wife. When I asked for mushrooms with my eggs on the first day they... More

We stayed here for four nights in December and thought it was a wonderful little place with lots of character and well placed for exploring Cape Town. Everyone was very helpful and the rooms are lovely, especially the terrace and the spacious bathrooms. Definitely worth it for a trip to Cape Town. More

We stayed a total of 9 mornings, afternoons, evenings and nights at Dysart and can quite honestly say it is by far the most comfortable, most friendly and most delightful hotels we've ever found - anywhere. The fact it is located in the world's most beautiful city is only an added bonus. The staff are wonderful, the owners are very... More

Stayed 3 nights in December. Pretty much a full house while we were there but the staff were attentive and efficient. Special mention to Martin, the night porter & conscienrge, who was a fantastic host and gave us some fascinating insights into living in Cape Town. Neefa's cooked breakfasts were delicious, and this was supplimented by an array of fresh... More

What an absolutely fantastic place, enjoyed every minute of our stay here, from the rooms the staff and the resident tourist guide Alex everyone was welcoming, friendly and attentive. We arrived early which we thought would be a problem but we were given breakfast and then shown straight to our room which was beautifully laid out with its own private... More
