This is a beautiful B&B run by a German family in a gorgeous thatched house with an afro-chic style. We were passing through Hout Bay so only stayed one night but would definitely recommend it as a base for exploring Cape Town and the Cape. We had a lovely room under the thatched roof with a massive bed, en-suite and little balcony/terrace. The whole place is really stylishly decorated and has a sophisticated yet very calming atmosphere. The gardens are also great and there is a tempting little swimming pool. There are also shared lounge and tv areas, internet access and a couple of friendly dogs! The family that run it were welcoming and extremely helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had in a B&B. Highly recommended. more
