In general, we had a very nice mulitple-day stay at the Glen and would recommend it to friends. The hotel is clean and roomy, the staff are extremely friendly, and our room was large and very comfortable. The hotel provides secured and easily accessible parking. Breakfast was outstanding (truly delicious). Were there not so many things to see and do... more

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We pride ourselves on our excellent service and stunning boutique hotel. I am sad to hear that you had a bad experience with a homeless person outside of the hotel. This is a very rare occasion but we have to remember that Cape Town is still in a 3rd world country. The Glen Hotel is located a bit off city centre, so you would ideally have a car when going around Cape Town and surrounding area. I did enjoy the stay at the Glen very much, the rooms are very stylish, modern and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Very friendly place and although it is a gay only place, it is... more

Stayed at the Glen with my partner and a friend following a couple of weeks in Kruger. Hotel is well located and the staff friendly and helpful without being over intrusive or cloying. Just the right balance! Rooms are large, stylish and well appointed, as are the public areas. Staff arranged reservations at restaurants of our choice as well as... more

05/20/2009 – 05/28/2009 My partner and I traveled to Cape Town for the first time in May, and stayed at The Glen Boutique Hotel. Friends met us there (most of whom stayed at The Glen as well). The short version of the review: visit their web site. If you like what you see, you will love The Glen. Book. Go.... more

I came for a few days relaxation after working for two weeks in Cape Town. The service was simply superb, the breakfasts delicious, the setting intimate and stylish. The price was extremely reasonable. As someone who travels the world constantly in my work, the Glen Hotel was undoubtedly one the greatest value for money experiences I have had. I would... more

This is a great boutique hotel. Website photos don't do it justice. It's got great style, without being over done and lovely friendly service. Terrific breakfast, which we had on the sunny terrace. I came for a few days after a work trip to wind down with some gay boy friends. I was glad of the warm welcome for a... more

I stayed 9 nights, and so didn't want to leave. The staff at The Glen are so warm and friendly, I really felt like a guest in their home. Their is a elegant casualness to the atmosphere, and everyone was super friendly. My room was stunning, an upgrade to what I booked, and in my opinion, the best room in... more
