We have just returned from an extended visit to South Africa, primarily to catch up with family and friends. We found Bluegum via the internet, and could not believe how lucky we wer, we stayed there twice. My girlfriend and I stayed at the Bluegum Hill Guesthouse for 5 days. I cannot say enough great things about this place. It really does have the best view in all of Cape Town. Staying there helped us to feel like we were at home in Cape Town,. The staff was more than happy to help with everything we needed.... more

For the price, the Bluegum Hill is a very fair deal. Located on Signal Hill, the B&B features great views of the city - but only from the breakfast patio. Also a plus is the parking garage.
