Average chain hotel a 20minute taxi ride away from the V&A. Currently being refurbished - which it needs. Staff friendly but despite about a years notice that a hundred or so rugby fans would be staying with them, they didn't have enough bar staff or beer to cope with us. Buffet breakfast was good, but evening meal in the hotel... more

We stayed here twice for three nights each between Cape area tours. It had very good pricing for what it included and it's location. The breakfasts were very good and staff very friendly. It is between Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront. The place to be is the Waterfront and weather it was a taxi or hotel shuttle it was... more

A large group of us (20) stayed in this hotel for 7nts in Oct 07. I was sharing with another lady- there were 2 double beds in the room. Room and en-suite both well equiped, hair-dyer, tea/coffee making facilities etc. Nice and comfy. Breakfast was good- buffet style with lots of selection. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had lunch... more

A large group of 200 athletes and their families from the United States were guests for a week during International Jump Rope Competition in Capetown. Hotel staff was very gracious and assisted us throughout the week. Meals on site were good and service was also. Having read reviews we had concerns coming to the property, but it was a great... more

This is a good business hotel, small pool and garden area with good views over the harbour. The hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport and about 5 minutes from the waterfront. As the hotel is above the town it can get quite windy and as I was on the top floor the door to the balcony rattled a... more

We (wife, toddler and myself) needed a hotel for an overnight stay and we contacted several hotels by telephone and the prices were just unbelievabley high for a last minute booking and considering that Nov 11 is just barely into high season-there are a lot of empty rooms around but no one seems to be budging on price. Anyway back... more

We arrived at 10.30pm for an overnight stay, having just flown in to Cape Town and prior to leaving for a tour of the Western Cape the following day. Despite having paid for our rooms (2 doubles) and having confirmation and vouchers to prove such, they claim they had no reservation ( only a mispelt name in a cancelled booking!?)... more

Was here for a week with a conference group. Rooms were very nice, clean, and good sized. The conference facilities were good and well organized and friendly. Location is not the best for tourists, since you can't walk anywhere, although the hotel shuttle works well enough and it is easy to call a taxi. The front desk was the only... more

Stayed for 2 nights at the Garden Court as part of a cricket tour. We had a nightmare at check-in as there was a serious mix up with several rooms. Once this was sorted we had a bit of fun ordering mini-buses to take us to the waterfront. There would appear to be a number of people working in the... more

We stayed at this hotel as a last minute option for a weekend getaway. It has a great view of the city in front and at the back of Table Mountain. The hotel offers free parking, and there is plenty to go around, also undercover. I saw a pool although we did not use it. The rooms are spacious with... more
