Without doubt this hotel has the finest views and location in Cape Town. The proximity to the V&A shopping and restaurant complex is also a major plus. The Breakfast buffet is one of the finest I have ever encountered and that includes many properties in the far east who excell at the early morning spread.Front desk and business centre were also spot... more

Definately ask for a room facing the table mountain. What a stunning view to wake up to each morning. And the gulls and seals at the waterfront are just too beautiful to miss. The breakfast spread is just unbelievable. You probably will have no space for lunch. Try and fit in a sunday brunch if your stay permits. The staff... more

This hotel is one of the most magnificent hotels ever. Located at the docks, it gives an extravagant view of the sea on the one side and a beautiful overview of the city. It is located right next to a mall with an entry from the hotel itself so shoppers have the liberty and convenience of shopping and relaxing at... more

The whole start of the honeymoon was great, the atmosphere since the time of the pickup at the Airport. The Check in was smooth with them offering free bottle of champagne. The room was nice and spacious, with the location absolutely stunning. Just a walk around the Bay area is stunning. Overall the staff were very helpful and friendly. The... more

I just could not have stayed at your lovely hotel without telling someone how wonderful it was. Even though I am not in the hospitality industry, I am priviledged to stay in some of the nicest hotels/resorts and the Table Bay must rate as one of the best. Obviously the location was spectacular, but it was the people that made... more

Ok, I don't get to go to many 5* hotels, but this was utterly brilliant. Had a fifth floor corner room, with walk in cupboard, sofa, armchair, bathrom with walk-in shower, and a view of Table Mountain. The staff were brilliant, and were extremely helpful without giving the impression they were angling for a tip all the time (unlike the... more

The location is excellent. The common areas are attractive. Generally the service is good. The rooms are a reasonable size. Great car parking (free options available) and cheap valet service. Now the bad points: (1) The deluxe room had a "holiday inn" 80's feel to it and in desperate need of updating. I think the family suite, with a balcony... more

I had the pleasure of staying at the Table Bay hotel, being a tour excort with a group. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The Hotel was beautiful, and in a perfect location. (lovely shopping, nice restaurants all within easy walking distance and reasonably priced). My room over looked Table Mountain, and apart from the view was fantastic, others... more
