Great base for our holiday, we were on the 2nd floor facing the road; there wasn’t much of a view and the traffic did filter through during the day. The room was very clean and every time we returned to our room it was tidied up, on one occasion I had dropped my money (about £100 equivalent rand) without realising... more

Just had a workshop/conference here and had a great experience. The hotel staff were great, very accomodating, quick to respond, and friendly. The location is also good, just a short walk to the waterfront area as well as the Cape Quarter and Waterkant area. Really no complaints and found it was good value, at least for holding a conference. Breakfasts... more

Not the place to be if on holiday - had previously been on Safari in Kruger and coming here for the second leg of our trip made us feel stressed. Close to the waterfront (hotel shuttle available) and good proximity to City. Great if staying for business but not for pleasure. more

We were staying in Winchester Mansions over Christmas and I discovevered that I had inadvertently booked for only 5 instead of 6 nights. We asked them to try to keep us for the 6 nights but meantime we booked Victoria Junction for the night of 29th December just in case. On 26th Winchester Mansions informed us that we were ok... more

This hotel is a great base for exploring Cape town just 5 mins from V&A waterfront. We went for a suite on the top floor - two levels - lounge and bedroom - even included an exercise bike and great coffee machine! Air conditioning could have been better and the room had clearly been used by smokers but other than... more

A good place to go if you're a smoker. They do not have any non-smoking rooms. Their website does not state this, you only find this out after having booked! more

Travelled to Cape Town with my wife in late January with Virgin Airways having booked flight and first three nights hotel via Expedia. What can I say - the place is fantastic. Scenicly stunning with a Table Mountain backdrop (and yes, the tablecloth is a sight to behold!). Superb sightseeing ... and despite pre-travel worries, felt very safe. Victoria Junction... more

Myself and my wife stayed at this hotel last year November. I have to say that it was extremely clean and had a trendy ambience to it. Not to mention the staff, they were excellent and friendly. When we left we had 4 or 5 staff members who came out to the taxi to greet us bye. Courtesy and respect... more

We were booked into this hotel for 6 nights but checked out after 1 and moved to another hotel. I am surprised that there are some positive reviews of ths hotel, the only good thing I would say is that the staff were pleasant enough and helpful. Let's move onto the problems: It is not situated in a good part... more
