My family and I stayed at the Peninsula for one week in June 2009. Apparently one of the housekeepers managed to rummage through my bag and steal hundreds of dollars of cash. I reported it to the hotel management which informed me that they have had quite a few incidents in the past. The hotel then told me it was... more

We are a family of 5 - my husband and I, and our three grown up children. We were headed for Jo'burg, but decided to add on a week in Cape Town first. It was a very good decision. When we saw the apartment we were surprised by the size of it. The view from the balcony was stunning, overlooking... more

The suites in this hotel are very comfortable. The housekeeping does a fabulous job keeping it spotlessly clean. This hotel also offers free shuttles to Waterfront and Table Mountain. That is of great help .The view from our roomwas spectacular. the sea outside was such a pleasure to look at. The staff was very polite and helpful. more

We were originally supposed to get a standard hotel suite, but were immediately upgraded to a huge 2 bedroom suite with jacuzzi tub and wrap around balcony. We didn't even have to ask for the upgrade. The staff was fantastic and we used the shuttle service as often as possible, but you had to book it in advance. Cab rides... more

This hotel was perfect for what we were looking for. Nice, big room with a kitchenette. Delicious breakfast was included and fantastic. The staff really made our stay. They went out of our way to make everything perfect. The free shuttle was helpful getting around to places close to the hotel. Would have liked to closer to the down town... more

Originally did an exchange into the Peninsula via RCI Timeshare but unfortunately had to cancel and decided to book direct with the resort for a later date.Quite pricey but had a beautiful 4 bedroom suite with spa bath ect for the first 4 nights then headed off to winelands and returned for a further two nights in the penthouse. Wow... more

The reception and restaurant areas of this hotel well well maintained and decorated. the restaurant served very nice and good value breakfasts. There was an excellent daily maid service and the rooms were clean and well maintained. We had a broken lounger on our balcony and this was replaced quickly when reported. We had no bother with the louvre windows... more

I stayed at this hotel two years ago and it was wonderful to return. The hotel manage to retain many of the same staff and not only were we recognised but our names were remembered. This is a time share resort but is run like a hotel with reception, bar and restaurant very efficiently indeed. An example being on our... more

My family stayed here for a couple of days, arriving after an overnight flight from London; having spoken a couple of times to the reservations, we arrived at 9am and got a 2-bed penthouse suite available to move straight into. It is really a timeshare place, but nothing wrong about that. There is good service, a nice restaurant for breakfast... more

My wife and I have stayed here regularly since 1998 and we have always been very pleased with the experience. The service is good the staff always friendly and helpful, it is generally well maintained and the General Manager Chris Godenir is excellent. We like the position of the hotel; Seapoint is a definite community with useful shops yet access... more
