Booked for 3 nights, at the arrival saw the accomodation and almost had a heartattck, not what you see on the website at all,refused from taking 2 flats, the third was very nice but very dirty. In December 2008 we booked a Penthouse run by Village and Life for the Easter weekend in 2009. When we arrived we were told that "the geyser had fallen through the roof" ... for the third time, and that the accommodation was not available. No alternative had been arranged. De Waterkant Village is actually a very nice neighbourhood in Cape Town where "Village and Life" own a number of properties which they rent out on a short term basis. I'll just point out that this is a very gay area in Cape Town and it was quite amusing the reaction of most cab drivers when ever I told them... more
