We were looking for a comfortable place to stay for a family of 4 for 12 days - this was our first time ever in Cape Town and South Africa. Given our highly energetic children of 9 and 11 it was important for us to find a place they could move around freely while being safe. This place is ideal... More

Our son is 17 months old, so my wife decided that we should try self catering instead of a hotel and how right she was! This place is super, with big comfortable rooms, a kitchenette, sitting room, a garden and a swimming pool - plenty of space for our son to play and being able to make porridge for him... More

My family stayed at the Palm Garden Suite for 3 nights and had a fabulous time. The 2 kids really enjoyed playing in the garden and the swimming pool. Our suite consists of one very large room with a large closet which separtes nicely our bed and the living area with a single bed for our daugther and a sofa... More

We were in the Mountain Magic suite which had the best ever views from our bedroom! we also had use of the garden which had a great pool and lovely BBQ area. We used taxis to get into town which were really easy, using a freephone number from the apartments. It was great as a family to have a space... More

We have kids who are too young to sleep in a separate hotel room and too old to share one with us. We are always on the lookout for self catering 2 bedroom accommodations that are typically difficult to find in cities. Mountain Magic was perfect! We felt right at home in this quiet residential neighborhood minutes away from anything... More

We stayed in the Mountain Magic Suite for a week in January with our two kids (7 & 8)and loved it so much we stayed again on the way back to CapeTown at the end of our trip. The location is great, a little way from the centre of Cape Town (not walkable with kids) but in a quiet, peaceful... More

We stayed at the Mountain Magic Suite, which is the biggest of three apartments they have at this location for four days and I think our choice had a huge influence on the great time we had in Cape Town. The apartment lies in a quiet residential area about 15 min walk from Kloef Nek Road. We were traveling with... More

I've now tried all three of the suites at Mountain Magic and each has it's unique selling points. This time I stayed in the Bay Lights Studio. It's a little smaller than the other two studios, but if you're on you're on your own, the size is perfect and the view from the balcony onto the city bowl and the... More

We liked to start and complete the day on the balcony with its fantastic view of the city and the sea. Within a few minutes we could reach the city centre and the sea or leave Capetown for a day trip to the fantastic and interesting sites around CT. And when we returned we loved to sit in the shade...
