The longest we could spend there was around 2 hours and it was already enough. This is one of the addresses people should never go to. The rooms are decorated in such a way that they make you suffocate regarding their colors & space. The bathrooms are definitely not equipped for small children & no proper light adjustments facility is... more

we stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which is actually accross the road from the guest house (not mentioned on website) The bedrooms are small but comfortable enough but only normal double beds not queen or king. Living area good - comfy chairs , D-sat tv & stereo and kitchen very useable. The biggest drawback was the balcony. Very small,... more

We stayed for 3 nights in November in room 18 at the front of the building. Although described as a guest house I would call it a motel – there are around 20 rooms and for a city centre location plenty of secure parking spaces. 40 Winks is in the Greenpoint area about a 20-minute walk from the Waterfront.
