This is a small hotel, which is ideally located within Camps Bay. It has a small pool and sun bathing deck. The staff are all lovely and friendly. The room had a safe and the hotel has a night porter which made us feel safer. There is also off-street parking (although this is not secure). Our room overlooked the sea... more

The Primi Royal is located at the Promenade end of Camps Bay Drive, just a short walk from beach and main strip of bars and restaurants. We had a deluxe room which was great, very comfortably furnished, and with a great view (and I would guess we probably had the room with one of the worst views in the hotel... more

Some of the reviews on here worried me before going but we found the Primi Royal great. It's only small but our luxury room was large with a lovely bathroom - only downside was no balcony. The shared areas were lovely with cooked breakfast made to order each morning and nothing was any bother for the helpful staff. It is... more

good location, good service and great room. The location of the hotel is ideal for getting into Cape Town and to Table Mountain. It's also about a 2 minute walk to the main strip of Camps Bay/ the beach. I would recommend hiring a car to get into town or to other locations. Our room was amazing. HUGE, with a... more

I bookied this hotel via go2aFRICA. i told them the standard I was looking for. Unfortunately the Primi Royal did not match that. The reception is drab and uninspiring. It's a sort of back packers hotel. Certainly not five star. Rooms should be magnicicent but are not. We found cockroaches in our room. and checked out the next day. more

We only stayed for two nights....but the accomodation was superb. Petals on the bed, lovely big bath, views of the sea...and the food/bar area was as good. The views from the bar balcony were exceptional, sipping a beer watching the sun set over cape town is a pleasure everyone should experience. The staff were more than helpful even ordering, and... more

We arrived quite late to the hotel but were promptly greeted & shown to our amazing suite (Room 9). The views from the balcony were brilliant, although it took 3 days for the clouds to lift so we could see the Twelve Apostles & Table Mountain!! The breakfast was fab & the staff very friendly. Only downside to this hotel... more

We stayed at the Primi Royal during the last week of March 2008 because we couldn't get into my favourite Cape Town hotel (the beloved Cape Heritage, see my reviews of that!). We decided to stay in Camps Bay for a change of scenery. We arrived at the hotel about midnight and first impressions of our standard room were a... more
