My wife and I spent 6 nights at De Waterkant with our two daughters (6 and 4) during early July. Unfortunately, we arrived to meet a cold front that managed keep dark clouds around us for the entire stay. However, this did not damper our spirits, especially considering our heavenly accommodations. The space inside is so huge - great for... more

This was our first time to Cape Town and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was made all the better by the quality of the accommodation and its location in a delightful area, where you could walk to the bars and restaurants. The house had everything you could possibly want and have already recommended it and will be back next year... more

On a recent visit to Cape Town my husband and I stayed at one of the private townhomes that make up the De Waterkant Cottages. Specifically we stayed at #80 Waterkant Street and were exceptionally pleased with the accomodation and felt that the pictures and description online did not do it justice (I think they have since updated the website... more

A most memorable stay, Stunning cottage and a very good representation of the website. Staff very attentive . They even sorted out nibbles on our deck for us one night!! Some building work at the moment in the area but that should soon be over. Will def. be back. Thanks to Tobin and his staff! more
