This place is not as “über-sensational” as it looks on the website, but it’s still a VERY nice B&B. The management is German, and all the guests were German-speaking too when we stayed there. It’s a little bit pricey, but the location is as good as it gets in Cape Town. It’s located in the very safe Waterkant area between Long Street and the Waterfront, with lots of nice restaurants around the corner. Some of the rooms are a little bit small (for South Africa anyway), and they don’t have that brand-new feeling anymore, but they are still very nice. It’s more the lounge areas that look even more amazing on the website than in real life. The view of Table Mountain from the roof terrace is beautiful. The lodges are separated on a few different addresses, just a one-minute walk apart from each other, and they all look pretty much the same.
