Constantia Lodge is nestled under Table Mountain's Eastern slopes and offers a relaxing, elegant oasis from which to explore the Cape Peninsula. The quality of the accomodation was excellent and as so often is the case in the Western Cape the staff were delightful.

The Lodge is just that, spacious and well appointed so that you can enjoy a full English next to the pool as the sun comes up over False Bay. The manager, Henk, was helpful and attentive and the owners Kath and Dave ready to step if he was not around. In the evening you can watch the sun drop over the top of the Table and enjoy drinks from the honesty bar and well appointed lounges. Although Constantia is officially a bed and breakfast it has the size and trappings of a quality hotel.

Lastly the location of Constantia is perfect for visiting the wineries and restaurants of Constantia which are all less than ten minutes away as are the Kirtsenbosch Gradens. In all if you want to enjoy the fancy and elegant... more
