Stayed just the one night but wished it could have been longer. Very friendly welcome (glass of sherry/port) and parked easily ouside front door. We enjoyed our stay here so much in 2007 we came again in 2009, even booked the same room so we could sit on the balcony and watch the whales in the bay (with binoculars). The hotel is located on the sea front and has the most beautiful view, especially when the sun sets. The sea surrounds the hotel. The town of Hermanus is small but lively! The hotel itself is quiet and cosy. The staff are very helpful and friendly here. We had an excellent stay here and would definately stay again. more

We called in and asked about available accommodation whilst in Hermanus. The manager was extremely helpful and showed us one of the garden rooms which we loved. We stayed just one night but had a great time and would really recommend this place to anyone looking for clean, comfortable and stylish accommodation in Hermanus. more

Outwardly a charming property in a great location, but it is years since our room (penthouse) was redecorated and it is looking grubby. Breakfast is eaten in the Burgundy restaurant across the road.
