We stayed here in MArch 2009. Mike and Penny are great hosts and cant' do enough for you. Its about a 20 minute (steep) walk down to the stunning beach and the area is very chilled out and safe (no secure parking or high gates around here - doors are left unlocked, cars left on the road etc.). Its about a 20 minute drive to Knysna itself which has a good choice of places to eat and drink as well as a range of shops and a nice waterfront area.

Mike apparently cooks amazing meals if you want to stay in during the evening (we didn't do so but the visitors book is testament to his cooking skills.

We stayed in the largets room (Beach room I think) which has a large bedroom, separate dressing room and bathroom. Large patio doors look out onto the pool area and to the sea beyond.

Great breakfast, comfortable bed (huge, firm and luxurious), great hosts and perfect location. Who could ask for more? more
