Good fun and a beautiful setting, but the smaller boat would be a squeeze for more than 2 adults. Check the tides before you go - we were restricted to a small part of the lagoon on our 2 days as the tides didn't fit with our plans. Also, watch out for rip-off fuel charge when you check-out. We spent the first three nights of our holiday on the smallest boat available (4-5 birth) on the Knysna lagoon. Frankly, 4 adults would be a bit of a squeeze, we were three adults so that was ok.
