This is a guesthose, where you want to stay for forever. It’s located at the village Brenton-on-Sea 12 km outside Knysna. You have splendid views over Knysna Lagoon on the drive out there. Brenton on Rocks is located on a cliff with the ocean below. The view from the room is awesome. You constantly smell the ocean, feel the moist, hear the waves tumbling in. Fantastic. The rooms are very modern, especially the bathroom. Try to get one of the honeymoon suites, or the family suite with a balcony. The managers, Wonda & Ben, are so sweet, almost too warm-hearted! Please note that it’s self catering, so you need to bring some food for breakfast. Or you can walk down to Nautilus Restaurant for breakfast. The breakfast there was just ok, but the dinner was really good. The only downside with Brenton On Rocks was some confusion at the reservation, so be sure to get a written confirmation of which room type you have booked and for which price.
