We stayed two nights at Karoo Soul and had booked the double ensuite. As soon as we arrived we wanted to cancel our stay. It was a gorgeous hot summer's day and the 'garden cottage' given to us was a dark, claustrophobic shed with only a couple of barred windows, low ceilings and no outlook. We stayed at Karoo Soul for one night in Nov 09 and found it to be so bad we stayed out to dinner as later as possible that evening, and left early the next morning. The room was described as a double en suite and turned out to be what looked like a converted garage with bars on the window... more

We stayed here or one night whilst driving the Garden route and if you have a car and want/need to stay in oudtshoorn then i would reccomend this place if your on a budget. Double rooms were clean and large and the kitchen had everything you need. Friendly staff too. more

Stayed for 1 Night + Staff were very helpful + Rooms were really nice and had lots of character + Ok price and discounts to local attractions offered 3/5 more
