Stayed here for four nights - we were very comfortable in our room and the hotel/farm grounds are beautiful. We ate in the hotel restaurant a few times and thoroughtly enjoyed the food and Joseph's tales of Nelson Mandela ! breakfast was fantastic.

We had the most lovely evening at Rozendal in October. The service was exceptional and Joe the main waiter is such a character, he made it such fun for us. The Auberge Rozendal was quite like a home rather than a hotel for us. Everybody of the staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The rooms were fine but the rest was jaded and shabby. The owners have obviously not spent any money on maintenance in a long while. Definitely not worth 4 stars - maybe 2. Do not believe the website. This place needs money spent on it before anyone should think of staying there.

Quiet, peaceful surroundings with pleasant and accommodating staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and welcoming.
