We were very impressed with the room which was large and comfortable - more of a "cottage" arranged around one of four small swimming pools. The bathroom was equally spacious. Historic Lanzerac is in a stunning setting in Stellenbosch, and the Cape Malay architecture is lovely. The wine isn't bad either. But that's about all I can say good about Lanzerac. I stayed at Lanzerac in October and was very very disapointed with the hotel. Rooms were just ok, bath was leaking all over the bathroom, no internet connection, frosty service... Very bad food and poor room service. It's a pity because it's a beautiful area, just bad management if you ask me. more
