This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are large, well appointed, nicely decorated and well equiped. The food at the restauraunt is great, although the menu lacks regional Portuguese choices. Vila Monte in the Algarve is wonderful in all respects - the accommodations have a Moorish feeling and style, the grounds are beautiful and include a 3-hole golf course, and the dining in the Orangerie restaurant is superb (though very expensive).
